Privacy and tracking

What CliniStudy records, and why.

Version 2026-10-31.2. The short version: we track how you use the study tool so we can improve it. We never record anything about your patients.

What we record

Your account. The email you sign in with, your name, whether you are a student or a physio, your year of study or years of practice, and the optional details you choose to add (university or workplace, placement setting).

How you use CliniStudy. When you sign in, which patterns, lessons, measures and templates you open, which sections you read, how long you spend, which quiz answers you give, and when you follow a link to a related tool such as CliniMentor.

What you tell us. Feedback flags and the text you write with them, your answers to the post-session debrief, and templates you download.

Why

To see what helps and what doesn't, and fix it: which pages get read, which get flagged, where students lose confidence, which patterns need rewriting. CliniStudy is in beta and this is how it gets better.

To keep you informed about related tools, such as CliniMentor, but only if you tick the separate box asking for that. Using CliniStudy never signs you up for emails.

Who can see it

The owner of CliniStudy, who reads it identifiably to run the beta. Clinical reviewers see the flags you raise on a page so they can fix the content. No other member ever sees your activity, your debriefs or your feedback.

We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or pass it to your university or employer.

What we never record

Anything about your patients. Every form in CliniStudy is built from fixed choices so there is nowhere to type a patient's details, and the one short free-text line in the debrief is labelled as being about the page. Please keep it that way: write about CliniStudy, never about a person you treated.

Marketing emails

A separate, unticked box on your profile asks whether we may email you about CliniStudy and related tools. Leave it unticked and you will only ever receive emails needed to run your account, such as the sign-in link and a welcome note. Tick it and you can untick it at any time on your account page, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Where it is stored

Your account and activity are stored by Supabase in Sydney, Australia. The site is served by Vercel. Sign-in and welcome emails are sent through Resend. Lesson slides are played from Gamma, which may record that a slide was viewed but not who you are. When the CliniMentor waitlist opens, payments will be handled by Stripe; CliniStudy never sees your card details. Feedback you send may be summarised by an AI model (Anthropic) so we can read it in bulk. Only the feedback text is sent, never your name or email, and it is not used to train models. The CliniMentor waitlist page, which runs on its own site under its own privacy notice, tells us anonymously when it is viewed and when someone joins the waitlist; we receive only those counts and an optional campaign tag, never a name, email, IP address or anything else that identifies a visitor.

CliniStudy sets one cookie, to keep you signed in. There is no advertising or analytics cookie.

Your choices

You can see and change your profile and your email preference on your account page. To have your account and everything recorded with it deleted, email ben@benonofrio.com from the address you signed in with, and it will be removed within 14 days.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that matters, the version number at the top changes and you will be shown it again the next time you save your profile. This notice is dated 2026-10-31.2.

This is a learning tool. It does not diagnose patients and does not replace your clinical educator.
